Micro sensor switch uses a professional 5.8GHz radar module to transmit CW radio waves at a fixed frequency of 5.8GHz±75Mhz to the induction area through a high-gain low-sidlobe planar microstrip antenna, and receives all the reflected radio waves in the area, which is converted by the mixing circuit of the module into a difference frequency electrical signal;According to the principle of Doppler effect, the high performance digital signal recognition algorithm is used to analyze whether there is a moving target in the region, so as to control the load power switch.

1. Antennae radiation:

The front of the radar switch antenna should avoid metal objects (including the shell), there can be plastic, glass, wood and other penetrable occluder, but the occluder should not be close to the antenna, so as not to affect the resonance, radiation capacity or shielded signal. In addition, the larger the ground plane provided by the application floor to the radar switch, the less backward radiation, and more energy will be radiated from the antenna directly in front of it.

2. Other moving objects interfere:

Try to avoid pointing the radar switch at moving/shaking objects such as large metal equipment, ventilation pipes, fire pipes, and drainage pipes. Because it is possible that their motion Doppler frequency falls into the motion frequency of the person, causing a false positive. Some customized versions can solve the problem of fixed interference sources (such as electric fans, air conditioners, bath bullies and other interference).

3. Multiswitch installation:

When installing multiple radar switches, try to ensure that the antennas of each radar switch are parallel to each other, irradiated in the same direction or in the opposite direction, avoid the direct irradiation of each switch, and maintain a distance of more than 1m between the switches.

4. Power frequency and harmonic interference:

The radar switch has done a variety of power frequency interference and multiple harmonic suppression algorithms, but it is still recommended to stay away from high-voltage AC power supply, rectifier bridge, high-power electrical driver and other circuits, and do a good job of voltage regulation, shielding, power integrity and other design, so as to avoid super power frequency interference, beyond the range of switch suppression ability, causing false positives.

5. Optical interference:

The luminous change of the light-emitting component may cause the light intensity detected by the light-sensing device to change too much, causing the switch to switch between the off detection and the on detection function, and the control signal is abnormal.It is recommended that the light sensing device on the radar switch be protected from direct or indirect light emitted by the light-emitting device during installation.This version of the radar switch uses a single light sensor to detect ambient light, and can use a combination of natural light detection sensors and multiple light sensors to avoid this problem.

6. Strong penetration:

Compared with 24GHz, 60GHz, 77GHz millimeter wave, 5.8GHz microwave has a stronger penetration ability, for thin wood, ceramic, glass, plastic can penetrate, but generally not easy to penetrate brick walls.

7. ESD protection:

Do not touch the antenna and circuit with your hands to avoid excessive human contact discharge and damage to the radar switch.
