Main Components

Microprocessor

It is responsible for managing the various inputs and outputs of the system and sending signals to various components to control their operation.

Memory

The memory of the elevator’s main board is responsible for storing the program that controls the elevator’s operation. The program is usually stored in non-volatile memory, which means it will not be lost when the system loses power. The memory also stores configuration data for the elevator, such as floor layout and number of floors.

Power supply

The power supply provides the necessary voltage and current to power the various components of the elevator control system. Power supplies typically convert incoming AC power to the DC power required by the elevator control system. Power supplies also include voltage regulators to ensure that the voltage is maintained at a consistent level.

Input/Output (I/O) Interface

The I/O interface is responsible for connecting various sensors and actuators to the elevator control system. It includes inputs for sensors such as limit switches, door sensors, and floor sensors, as well as outputs for controlling various actuators such as motors, door operators, and automotive lighting.

Motor Control

The motor controller is responsible for controlling the operation of the elevator motor. It consists of a motor drive circuit that controls the speed and direction of the motor, and a feedback mechanism that monitors the position and speed of the motor.

Door Control

The door controller is responsible for controlling the operation of the elevator doors. It includes a door operation circuit that controls door opening and closing, and a door position sensor that detects the door position.

Communication Interface
